Privacy notice
For the request-access form on this site. Last updated .
Who we are
ExpenseIQ is built by Arjava Group (Arjava Projects Pvt Ltd), registered at 6C, A. C. Market, 1 Shakespeare Sarani, Kolkata 700071 (CIN U70102WB2013PTC197236). For anything about your personal data, write to info@arjava.in.
What we collect
- What you type into the form: your name, your company or group name, your email address and your phone number.
- What your browser sends: your IP address and your browser's description of itself (the "user agent"), stored with your request.
- How you found us: the campaign tags in the link you arrived by (such as "utm_source"), the name of the website that sent you (not the page), and the page you first landed on. Stored with your request.
- Cookies: two short-lived cookies needed for the form to work and to protect it from forged submissions. They expire after two hours. If you accept analytics, Google Analytics also sets its own cookies (named
_gaand_ga_…); see below. We use no advertising cookies.
Why we collect it
- To contact you about your request and arrange a walkthrough of ExpenseIQ.
- To limit spam and abuse of the form, using the IP address and user agent.
We do not sell your details, and we do not use them for anything else, such as a newsletter, without asking you separately first. We rely on section 7(a) of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (legitimate use): you gave us these details yourself, for this purpose.
Who can see it
The Arjava Group team that handles requests. Your details also pass through the services we use to run this site: our hosting provider, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Mumbai (ap-south-1) region, and our email providers — Amazon SES (Mumbai) for the emails we send, and Zoho Mail for the info@arjava.in mailbox itself — only to store the request and send it to our team.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4, a service run by Google, to understand how visitors use our home page and our pages for each role (business owners, finance teams, approvers, employees, and chartered accountants). It records the pages viewed, the website that sent you, your approximate location (country or city, worked out from your IP address, which Google states it does not store), your type of device and browser, which "Book a walkthrough" button you used, and whether the request form was sent or showed an error. It never receives what you type into the form: not your name, email, phone number or company.
This information is sent to Google and processed on its servers, primarily in the United States and other countries where Google operates. Google keeps it for 14 months. We have switched off Google Signals and all advertising features, so it is not used to show you ads or linked to your Google account.
Analytics cookies are set only if you choose Accept. If you choose Decline, or make no choice, no analytics cookies are set. Google still receives the basic, cookieless measurements described above. You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of the home page or any of those role pages. You can also block cookies in your browser, or install Google's opt-out add-on for Google Analytics.
How long we keep it
- Your request: 12 months after our last contact with you, unless you become a customer.
- IP address and user agent: 30 days, then deleted.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Write to info@arjava.in; we will reply within 30 days. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.
Complaints
If you are not happy with our reply, contact our grievance officer at info@arjava.in. You can also complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
