What is ExpenseIQ?
ExpenseIQ brings a business's bills, approvals, payments, card and bank statements and Tally entries into one place. Bills that arrive by email become payment requests, the right people approve them before money goes out, approved entries reach Tally, and every expense keeps its bill, approvals and payment together.
Who is it for?
Owners, finance teams, approvers, employees and chartered accountants of growing and family businesses in India, especially groups that run several companies and want one view of where the money goes.
Does it work with Tally?
Yes. You map your categories to your own Tally ledgers once; approved expenses and paid bills then reach Tally without being typed in twice.
Which banks and cards does it read?
Card and bank statements from HDFC, ICICI, Axis, Kotak, SBI, IndusInd, HSBC and American Express, including password-protected PDFs. You upload the statement; it is read for you.
How does the free trial work?
Sign up with your email and you get 3 months free for one company, with every feature switched on. No card is needed. When the trial ends your account becomes read-only, so you can still see and download everything, and it is kept for 60 days in case you continue.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. ExpenseIQ is a web app that works in the browser on any phone or computer, and approvers approve payments straight from the email.
Is my financial data safe?
Your data is kept separate from every other customer's, the site runs only over HTTPS on AWS in Mumbai, bank account numbers and keys are stored encrypted, and approving a payment from an email needs a one-time code. The security page has the details.
Can I take my data with me?
Yes. Your account owner can download everything at any time: every record as a spreadsheet file, with the original bills and statements, in one zip you can open without us.
